Summer at the Industriel Museum
Summer is a wonderful time to visit the museum, with plenty of exciting activities for both children and adults. Explore the exhibitions, take part in creative workshops, and discover history and culture in a fun and engaging way.
The playground
Everyone is welcome on our playground to crawl, climb and slide your way through industrial history. The steam boiler, flywheel, nuts and more will get you ready for what you can experience inside the museum. And if you dare, you can also take a ride down the seven-metre-high gas tank slide!

All dayAs a time traveller, you are given a booklet to accompany your time machine. But something has gone wrong – the machine has broken down, leaving you stranded in the past.

“Industrimuseet”… Some say our name is made up of the two most boring words in the language. Fair enough – but that’s also the only boring thing you’ll find here. We’re passionate about history, and that’s why we’ve created a museum that’s also an attraction. A museum that’s also family-friendly. In short, a museum that’s always worth a day out – even if you live far from Horsens.
Because history should be told, felt and experienced, so you become part of it. And it can easily give you just as many butterflies as a trip to the funfair or the cinema…
