How can you tell the difference between our classroom from 1930 and the one from 1980? Take a look at the teacher\u2019s desk: The higher it is, the further back in time you are. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back then, the desk stood on a raised platform, so no one could forget who was at the top of the hierarchy. By the 1980s, it had come down to floor level like an ordinary school desk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


If you really want to experience what it was like to go to school in the past, take a seat between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The classroom comes to life as the teacher leads the lesson in the old-fashioned way, and you\u2019ll practise handwriting with pen and ink. That\u2019ll teach you! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
